Sailors,

The following items were discussed at the meeting last Sunday. A sincere thanks to Mike and Nancy Connolly for hosting the meeting.

1. The e-mail list is up to date but we need a new mailing list for names, addresses, phone numbers and boat info. Please fill out an application from the website and I'll make it up. Please give an extra copy to any member that's not on the e-mail list to fill out and send to me. For those who have not already paid their dues, please send me a check for $25.00. I will also send race results to members without e-mail.

2. Due to popular demand, I've ordered more t-shirts and hats. Better colors this year. There should be a hat and shirt to match your boat/sail color.

3. The committee boat needs repairs. Doug Kell Sr. will check to see what's needed. We may need an assessment to pay for the repairs. This will be Doug Sr.'s last season to take care of the committee boat. Chuck McClead will take it over in September.

4. We need people for the committee boat this Sunday, 7/6 and also on 8/3, 8/10, and 8/30. Please let me know.

5. The ice cream social be at the Kell's on Popular Dr. after the race on 7/13.

6. A discussion on race marks was held and everyone agreed that we need new ones. A couple of different options will be tried. Go to www.westmarine.com then open the 2003 e-catalog to page 637 for an example of what's available.

7. Membership has been declining over the last several years. If you know any sailors on the lake or off, try to get them to join us.

8. As you know, I sent an article to both the BDN and the Weekly. Neither put the article in the paper but the BDN did put the race results in Tuesday's paper. I will send the results in weekly.
